Why we built our own CMS

Over twenty years we've built websites on plenty of content management systems. edgeCMS brings together everything our clients actually use day to day, and leaves out everything they don't.

Because we built it, we know it inside out. Every feature, update and fix comes from the same team that designs, hosts and supports your website, so there's never any question of whose problem something is.

edgeCMS is designed for busy people, not developers. Everything is laid out in plain English, and every page is edited the same way, so once you've changed one, you can change them all.

When your website launches we'll show you around, and we're always on the end of the phone if you get stuck. And if you'd rather we made the changes for you, that's fine too.

Can I edit my own website?

Yes. You can change text and images, add new pages, publish news articles and case studies, update your menus and manage your SEO, all without touching any code.

Do I need any technical knowledge?

No. If you can use email and a word processor, you can use edgeCMS. We'll walk you through it when your site goes live.

What if I need something it doesn't do yet?

Because edgeCMS is ours, we can build new features and custom modules, booking systems, quote builders, members areas and more, to fit your business.

Is edgeCMS secure?

Security is built in rather than bolted on: two-factor login for your team, no third-party plugins to go out of date, and secure hosting with backups from us.

Can you move my existing website onto edgeCMS?

Yes. We can move your pages, blog posts and images across, and set up redirects from your old addresses so you keep your Google rankings.
