As you approach Leigh Pettifer’s base, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it was nothing more than a well-appointed, modern farm, but within the dark green unit a short distance from his house lies some very precious metal.
Silverstone Classic and Race Car Storage (SCRCS) offers 100% secure storage for cars and motorbikes within discreet, rural surroundings. The four- and two-wheeled ‘guests’ are treated to climate-controlled conditions and a home that is monitored every hour of the day and which has one of the most impressive car lifts we’ve seen.
This modern vehicle storage business needed a website to match, and we were only too happy to help.
A bold design and simple CMS
Having discussed budgets and the desire for a simple content management system that would enable regular news, blogs and web page updates, the New Edge team opted for Wordpress as the platform on which to build SCRCS’ new web presence.
Imagery was a key focus and Leigh wanted the new site to demonstrate how meticulously clean and well-appointed his storage unit is. That’s why, when you hit the homepage, you’re instantly met with an image of supercars, classics and motorbikes resting safely within a modern storage environment.
Responsive Web Design
Smartphones now account for over half of web visits on most websites, therefore it was vital that the new SCRCS website worked flawlessly on small screens. The New Edge team was all too aware of this, which is why we used Wordpress’ fantastic responsive design features to build a bespoke template for SCRCS.
Lead generation via fully managed SEO
A key role for the new website was to generate new leads for the SCRCS storage facility. That left New Edge in full control of filling and keeping Leigh’s brand-new facility full. This led us to design and deliver a campaign that would deliver plenty of new customers cost-effectively, while providing a healthy return on investment.
This effort has been bolstered by a content marketing campaign that includes consistent monthly blogging, coupled with organic social media posting.
