Enhancing the way information is delivered to parents.

The Old Vicarage School is an independent preparatory girls school established in 1881, with notable academic achievements. The school is based in the Richmond area in London.

The school prides itself on it’s education methods by giving the girls a challenged and supported environment, filled with opportunities that most small schools cannot provide.

Introducing a Content Management System

The Old Vicarage School were seeking a redesign of their existing website and introducing control through content management. Collaborating closely with the internal marketing team we created a design that reflects the school's values as an independent preparatory school for girls.

Keeping parents up to date

One of the key stakeholders in any school is the parents. We introduced a new communication channel through the website, the “Parents Portal”. Parents can now login to a secure area and view helpful information that was otherwise unavailable without calling the school.

iPhone ready for a London on the move

The number of iPhone users in London is more than anywhere else in the country and as such parents on the move need access to the site. We developed an iPhone ready site with optimised user experience and “thumb friendly” design.

Content management

We deployed an instance of SilverStripe and built custom modules to page elements, allowing the administrative team to have complete control over each page. You can select from multiple page templates, with auto image resizing and text styling plus upload files and images directly into any part of the page. We provided one-to-one training to ensure workflow best practises are utilised.
