Living through a global pandemic has changed the way we all find ourselves living life. In the holiday park business this has been tougher than most. One of the problems identified was how to enable customers to safely Check In when arriving on park. We were contacted by Haulfryn Holidays to help them to solve this problem.
This required the process of building a system that could identify different processes for different parks (such as ANPR), pre capturing customer booking reference, name and email, securely integrating with Sage Pay to take the required security deposit and finally capturing mobile numbers to send secure text alert for key pad control lodge entrance.
The requirement was to make the process for the customer as easy and seamless as possible. A simple to use online Check In form with pre-populated booking, park and contact information provided to each customer automatically with their own unique URL.
Building a brand new web application for Haulfryn Holiday's online Check In it was crucial that it was designed to enable Haulfryn to continue to modify in line with the changing environment from living with Covid-19.
We used the latest version of Silverstripe to enable Haulfryn Holidays to have full CMS control over content, form fields, form functions, authorisations, recipients and parks.
