Claudio Modola Design was incorporated in the year 2000 and is a quintessential Italian Architectural and Interior Design studio whose work is recognised and covered by many of the world’s leading design publications. Over the course of the last two decades, Claudio Modola Design has instinctively developed an interpretive response to the ever changing demands of the luxury architectural and interior design market in which it operates. This approach allows the studio to react in an extremely customised, contemporary manner to the truly global reality of its clientele from its bases in Mombasa, Dubai, Siena and Muscat.
Claudio Modola initially approached Newedge in 2018 as they were having difficulties with the current Wordpress website. They wanted to find a UK based agency they could trust to help resolve some issues and support the existing website. We were more than happy to help and support Claudio Modola with the Wordpress website.
In 2021 Claudio Modola approached Newedge to design and build a brand new, fully content controllable, lead generation website using the Silverstripe content management system.
With Claudio Modola being a high quality, award winning architectural and design practice the website design had to present the correct look and feel for both potential new clients and existing clients. However, what we essential to the team at Claudio Modola was that the UX was clear, engaging and involving. We worked closely with the team to ensure that the website designed fully delivered the brief.
It was crucial that the projects were presented as a showcase item. Claudio and his team needed to be certain that the content and images represented the past, present and future achievements of the agency. We designed a feature to enable a cross range of image and image sizes without reducing the impact of the portfolio page.
We love how easy it is to design content controllable functionality within Silverstripe that makes the management and maintenance of a website as easy as 1,2,3. The area that will be most used and most updated is the portfolio (projects) section. We devised a simple to use approach to adding new projects that ensure continuity while still providing total design flexibility and best practice UX.
