Discovery & Scope
Understanding the challenges and how this project will solve them. We’ll take a deep dive into your current situation, look at customer challenges, internal challenges, priorities and requirements to really get an understanding of your business after which we can create the project scope including: user personas, user stories, customer journey mapping, site maps, content creation plan and technical documentation.
Pen to paper time, as we start to layout the pages of your website. You’ll be involved as we iterate through the wireframes until we have mapped out the entire customer journey in lo-fi. Next we'll make the lo-fi wireframe come to life with full hi-def graphic designs. You’ll be involved throughout the process as we produce designs for each page type. Finally we’ll take the signed off graphic design and start slicing them up into a clickable website, which we’ll test to destruction across multiple browsers and devices. You’ll get the chance to have a play too.
Core Development & Testing
In this stage we'll code up the websites functionality, which will be built in the Silverstripe CMS. We will thoroughly test all the code throughout the process to ensure its reliable and stands up to security best practise. You'll be involved throughout the process to ensure the system meets your requirements, expectations and matches the scope documentation. Once we have completed the build we will create a staging version of your site. This will then be passed through to our own Quality Assurance Manager to make sure everything to do with the website works as it should and meets our own high standards. Only when we are satisfied will we had the staging site over to you.
Content Loading and Training
Now the website is ready we can start loading content. We can either load content for you, or you can do this yourself. It’s an important part of the project lifecycle and not something to be underestimated. At this point we’ll give you training on the content management system to help you load the content. If we're developing something unique for your business, we'll ensure you know exactly how to use the system.
Once the final Quality Assurance has been passed we are now ready to go live and we can set a final go live date to switch on your new website. We’ll officially hand the project over to you and once your account is cleared we can go live.
Proactive Support & Maintenance
Once your website is live we shall continue to support you and your on-line business. We can also assist with maintaining content, design and the on-line digital marketing. Our support team will provide assistance should it be needed via our on-line ticketing system.
