Here at Newedge, we help you to cut through the confusion and frustration of the digital landscape to provide a clear and structured approach to designing great websites, ecommerce stores, mobile applications and digital marketing campaigns.
New Edge Media Ltd has been building great websites since 2005. We are based in Kettering, Northamptonshire, UK – just off Junction 9 of the A14.
We've worked with big brands like Days Inns Hotels, RoadChef, Anglian Water, WingYip and Wembley Stadium plus hundreds of SME’s like Crockett & Jones, Aircraft Research Association and Taser UK as well as Public Sector organisations like Northamptonshire Police & Crime Commissioner, VOICE and Dad.info.

Discovery & Scope
Understanding the challenges and how this project will solve them. We’ll take a deep dive into your current situation, look at customer challenges, internal challenges, priorities and requirements to really get an understanding of your business after which we can create the project scope including: user personas, user stories, customer journey mapping, site maps, content creation plan and technical documentation.
Pen to paper time, as we start to layout the pages of your website. You’ll be involved as we iterate through the wireframes until we have mapped out the entire customer journey in lo-fi. Next we'll make the lo-fi wireframe come to life with full hi-def graphic designs. You’ll be involved throughout the process as we produce designs for each page type. Finally we’ll take the signed off graphic design and start slicing them up into a clickable website, which we’ll test to destruction across multiple browsers and devices. You’ll get the chance to have a play too.
In this stage we'll code up the websites functionality, whether that's content management, ecommerce or bespoke functionality. We'll be heavily testing all the code to ensure its reliable and stands up to security best practise. You'll be involved throughout the process to ensure the system meets your requirements and agree scope documentation.
Content Loading and Training
Now the website is ready we can start loading content. We can either load content for you, or you can do this yourself. It’s an important part of the project lifecycle and not something to be underestimated. At this point we’ll give you training on the content management system to help you load the content. If we're developing something bespoke, we'll ensure you know exactly how to use the system.
Once Quality Assurance has been passed we are now ready to go live and we can set a final go live date to switch it on! We’ll officially hand the project over to you and once your account is cleared we can go live. We'll also invite you along to discuss digital marketing and how best to start using your website to attract new business.
Proactive Support & Maintenance
Once your website is live you will need to keep it up to date with latest security patches and updates to modules. We’ll also be here if any issues should arise that you need assistance with.
