The challenge

Bijou pony wear, founded by Bee & Julie wanted a younger generation friendly website which still delivered powerful ecommerce results through a shopping basket system and online payment via a secure server.

In this phase 2 development Bijou wanted more control over the website, including the ability update products themselves with image uploads, also there was the requirement for a pony gallery, where customers could upload pictures of their ponies wear the bijou pony wear range.

The solution

We custom built a full eCommerce and shopping cart system with a back end office system which allowed for complete stock control off all items with the ability to upload photos, manage categories for products, add new products, allow customers to upload pony pictures with an admin activation control to allow uploaded content to be monitored. All this with a funky colourful design that hides the complex technology behind this system.

The result

A fantastic website with colourful imagery and flash animation that still drives site sales through online credit card payments which is done on secure servers with an SSL certificate and now gives the owners of this site the ability to manage their own product range in house.
